My sincere condolences to your family for the loss of your loved one. God refers to death is our enemy ; 1 Corinthians 15:26 "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing". God promises at Revelation 21:4, "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.".
