Condolences

Condolence From: Marie Palmer
Condolence: Jean was the consummate professional as secretary to the superintendent at Draper Schools. We knew that she could answer any question relating to the district with clarity and discretion. She was always optimistic in her outlook and she had an ironic sense of humor. She was also wonderful with students and always took time to converse with my young sons when we encountered each other at the market or any public venue.
It was a privilege to know her.

Condolence: Jean and I first met three years ago when I was doing weekly pet therapy at Kingsway Manor with my Golden Retriever, named Molly. Molly would get a big smile and happy greeting from Jean each time and then Jean would pull her skirt up a little so Molly could lovingly lick her legs. Jean always put extra lotion on her legs on Wednesday. Both Molly and Jean seemed to enjoy this.
I always found Jean to be so positive, kind, loving and fun to visit with as we discussed politics, religion, life, and the Bible. She knew so much more about the Bible than I did so it was a great visit each week.
Each winter, we went to Florida for six months but Jean and I would talk at times. Then, when we arrived home again, we would try to catch up on so many topics.
This past year, I shared many books with her that had been written by the late Father Joseph Girzone and we discussed them. She enjoyed them very much.
Last Thursday, when I went to visit her, she was in pain but still had a big smile and seemed pleased to see me. We spent some time together and one of her last comments to me was, "I am ready to go home" Little did I know that it would be two days later. My Mother died when I was twenty- one but Jean was the one person that I had met in life that was so much like my Mom.
Jean was a very special lady and I will remember her for many years.
I look forward to meeting you all on Thursday at the funeral. God Bless You all at this time.
Dorothy

Condolence:
I remember her as a very nice & helpful person. She always had a warm greeting and a very cheery
disposition.

Although I graduated in 1963, I can still remember
her as she looked back then. Avery attractive woman
with blond hair and a winning smile.

I am sorry for the family's loss.

Condolence: Dear Ron and family,
Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of your Aunt Jean. Recalling the kind greetings I received from her in the days when we hunted turkeys on the family farm. Those of her generation were dedicated hard working loved ones. Many thanks for introducing me to her back then.
Sincerely,
Joe & Lucille Inglese

Condolence: We came to know Aunt Jean just a few years ago. She was the Aunt of our good friend Ronald Waldron. We were accepted by Aunt Jean as part of the family and always welcomed by her infectious smile. She shared her faith freely and extended the wisdom of her many years of perpetual learning / spirituality. She showed us how to see the light when we felt like we were in the darkness. She showed us that there was positive energy that came in many forms. Aunt Jean saw the beauty in all she met and shared that gift with all who she encountered. Aunt Jean was a serious advocate of the Christian spirit and loved to share that spirit in any way possible. She could create a prayer in a moments notice that sounded like the Pope himself had spent a week to create it. In each prayer she would include dozens of people. Some that were close to her and some that she may have never met. She was a HUGE fan of Naomi, and loved to spread the word of the Lord. We will miss you Aunt Jean, but your spirit and wisdom will continue as you have passed the torch on to us ! Godspeed dear, we will never forget you. Love Eddie and Cindy... The ones you called your adopted family !!
